VIRAT KOHLI 17TH CENTURY - NAGPUR ODI

Once again its a run feast in the Nagpur ODI between India and Australia at Jamtha.India have levelled the bilateral series 2-2 with final ODI being to held at Bengaluru. As the match started, Dhoni won the toss and elected to field first as the Indians have failed bowling in the death overs. It was a clever decision by Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Indian bowlers started well by restricting the Aussies to 45-2 in 11 overs. Then it was Shane Watson and the Australian skipper George Bailey who made a good partnership and played according to the conditions. They paced their innings beautifully once they got settled in.

With the new rules in place, having only four fielders outside the circle have taken a toll on the bowlers.Australians made a whooping score of 350 runs with Bailey scoring 156 runs and Watson scoring 102 runs.Indian openers started slowly but made a good partnership 178 runs for the first wicket.Rohit Sharma got out in the process of pacing his innings and the increase in required run rate.

Virat Kohli came in and gave good company to Shikar Dhawan. Dhawan reached his century and got bowled to Faulkner's ball while trying to flick the ball over the short fine leg.Raina was unlucky to be given out while trying to play hook shot in Johnson's ball.

Once again Yuvraj Singh was falling prey to Mitchell Johnson ball.Yuvraj tried to play an ambitious cover drive but the ball came in to Yuvraj Singh and got bowled. Dhoni came in and played along with Virat Kohli to steer India to the victory.

Virat Kohli played so well to get his second fastest century. This was Virat's 17th century and also the 11'th century in chasing a target. In all the 11 matches India have won and Virat Kohli averages above 63 in the second innings in ODI which is considered to be amazing in ODI cricket. Virat Kohli is playing unbelievable cricket at the moment and it is amazing to watch him playing shots so fearlessly.Virat Kohli was adjudged Man of the Match for his fantastic show with the bat. It was Kohli ka Kamaal !!! cheers !!
